Fire Island National Seashore (FINS) is a United States National Seashore that guards a 26-mile (42-km) stretch of Fire Island.

  Fire Island is a barrier island that was established as a unit of the National Park Service on September 11, 1964. The seashore park is roughly 30 miles (48 km) long and 0.5 miles (0.80 km) wide and is separated from Long Island by the Great South Bay. The island is a part of the Outer Barrier and Suffolk County in New York State.
